I am noticing a rumbling sound coming from the final drive at around 30 mph at low rpm. Is this normal or something I should check into?

Mark, you should check into it. In the 63,000 miles, 7 years I have owned my T, I have not heard any rumbling in the rear. Something could be loose like the fender, shock or wheel, or the rear drive gears could need grease. Even the brake could be loose or grinding. It could also be broken cords in the rear tire. Please check it out before something binds or lets loose on you.

Or it could be just gas.
