trying to sell the aero and then give up biking, so have been looking for a convertible. one came up on craigslist yesterday i just couldn't believe. thought it had to be a piece of crap for the price they had listed or the price was a mis-print. decided to go look anyway. WOW, couldn't believe my eyes, and i'm still looking for something wrong with it, but haven't found anything yet. this is the original paint and it's unbelievable. car must have been kept inside most of the time. leather shows a little wear, but no rips or tears, a/c blows cold, top looks new, engine runs strong, no smoke or leaks, tranny shifts great and absolutely no rust anywhere!
i always liked these cars, but they were expensive new and then sort of became collectible, so just didn't figure i'd ever own one. oh yeah, it's a 1990 cadillac allante two seater roadster. big V8 power that will challange many hot rods. it was designed by a ferrari guy and produced from '87 to '93.
told lillian i didn't figure this old hillbilly would ever own a caddy, but here it is. all i need now is a set of those bull horns for the front of the hood, a huge white 10 gallon cowboy hat, and a big cigar and i'd be boss hoggin' the boulevard
