I always like to give my bike batteries a good 24-hour, 2-amp charge at the beginning of the season. However, I was so anxious to ride my T that it only got a
minimum charge to get it running. I figured a 30-mile ride to work would be enough. Well, the starter was kinda sluggish, so I hooked her up yesterday for a
good 2-amp charge. I went out this morning, disconnected the charger and hit the key. All the lights came on real bright but as soon as I hit the start button,
everything went black. No power whatsoever. I didn't have time to mess with anything except to wiggle the terminal wires (they were tight), so I hopped on
the 750 and off to work I went.
When I get home, I'll disconnect and clean the contacts and check the water level even though I filled it up in March and have only ridden it once since. Then I'll check the fuses. Any other ideas?
