I posted a while back about driving to California from Texas to pick up a T that had been in storage for several years. The bike is mechanically topnotch,
having been brought up to spec by the local Honda dealer before I picked it up...new rubber, battery, carbs cleaned etc. The only real cosmetic issue is that
some of the metal has oxidized, spotted and is generally discolored in many places. I normally use a combination of Mother's, Turtle Wax and Maguire's
products, however, I came across English Custom Polish and all I can say is WOW! This stuff really works. I am very impressed. I have only used the Metal
Restore as of yet, but I bought two other levels of polish. This looks so good, I don't know if I'll use them. Probably will, just to see how it looks.
This product comes out of England and is used in their museums, such as the Imperial War Museum. The US distributor is out of Maine I believe. I purchased it
from topoftheline.com. It's not cheap and I was hesitant to buy it. But, I see how the T looks after only 30 minutes of work and I know it will really be
worth it when I'm done.

I'm really fired up about getting the bike looking good Alain. I'm taking off the windshield and bags to make the polishing easier. My goal is to have
her ready for a little ride to Las Cruces, NM next Saturday. About 100 miles round trip. No big deal, just an easy cruise on the back roads with a good meal in
the middle. Funny thing the other day. I took her out for a little five mile warm up...couldn't stand not riding on such a beautiful morning. I'm
stopped at the light, ready to head out on the main road and a guy pulls up in a car, rolls down the passenger window and tells me that he loves the paint job
on my bike. I guess he thought it was custom. That's the first time anyone has ever done that. I should have pictures next week.
