Good evening everyone. I have a quick question: are the Valk hard bags the same as the ones on our T's? Thanks for the help.

Dan, thank you so much for the reply. I had gotten different answers from people here in my area, so I thought I would ask where I knew I could get a straight
response. Take care.

Dan , There are differences in the hinges though arn't there ? I thought I read somewhere here that a few people (you possibly) had changed the hinges on
thier T to the valk hinges for better clearance ?

TRH,
You are correct. Valkyrie Interstates have different hinges so that saddlebag lids can slid off to the side thereby avoiding the top box. The hinged versions, like our T's saddlebag lids, would surely have interference with any wide top box and not open very far at all.

Valky Tourer bags are exactly the same as the ACE Tourer.
Valky I/S bags are exactly the same except for the two piece hinges and the "Interstate" badges on the sides. But the bags themselves are the same in all instances. -Dan |

Ok , think I got it now . Thanks for the info , I was wondering about the hinges because there are people who have mentioned changing out theirs for Valk
hinges . I did not realise there were two different kinds for the Valks .
