hey fred, here's a few pics of the event. the "eight ball" bike was one of my favorites along with the "rat bike". really didn't have too many show bikes, but a lot of ride-ins. i was a little disappointed in the amount of vendors, and feel harley was a little...no. make that a lot CHEAP in the fact that they had no free food or drinks. even the local dealers around here have free hot dogs and coke at their open house events. other than the harley they gave away, that was all they offered, and you had to buy chances on it. course, the factory tour was free, but it always is and actually, i was a little disappointed in it too, as they just let people walk through without any tour guide or anybody to tell you what machine did what, and everything was shut down for the day. when you take the regular tours, you always have a tour guide to explain how things are done. guess they figured this would be quicker way to get people through. the stunt show was great. they had buells and sportsters they did the stunts with. ran the two sportsters into each other once doing a routine. at the end, they put the two buells front wheel to front wheel and did one heck of a burnout.
oh yeah, had to throw in a pic of my suzi. i'm still looking for that elusive T, but have not found a low mileage, accessory loaded, near kansas city yet. i bought the suzi because it was one heck of a deal and figured it would do 'til a T came along. it really is a nice bike though. i was concerned about it being an 800, but it carries me and lillian very well, and has plenty of passing power on the highway. it is fuel injected and i'm sure that helps some. later, bud
