Travis....great photos. The bike looks good too.
Pick-up still looks like an International but I am not that well schooled on International's. I love the lines on the hood. I wouldn't mind seeing more photos of the pick-up if you've got them someplace else. alepel |

Looking good in the neighborhood, Travis. It looks like your T may have been lowered some. I'm a sucker for the early pick-ups myself. My favorites in the
late 40's and early 50's are the Stude's.

Welcome. I like the paint on your T.
I think Alepel is Correct but I don't recognize the hood emblem, maybe a 47'? I love the front end design of that era Internationals! From another lover on old trucks. (56' & 72' Chevys)

Nice ride. Very similar to mine, except for the booster seat. Might just have to make mine into a single. Looks good.

Stan, can you tell me how to check to see if my bike has been lowered? I would like to know if it is or not.
Thanks, Travis P.S. I will throw some pictures up here of my 47 International if you guys would like me too. |

Travis, my bike is stock height with the rear shocks set on highest setting. On the side stand in the garage, the height from the floor to the center of the
bottom of rear fender measures 13.5 inches. From the left top windshield clamp bolt to the floor measured 37 inches to center of bolt head. This is the only
way that I know to check the height. If your shocks are not set to the same setting, then you will measure slightly lower than me.

I love the classic's cars, trucks and bikes. That is what I do for fun build streetrods and now I have a shadow a.c.e tour to go with. Oh those old trucks
they work good when you put them on a chevy S-10 frame.

I have seen a few S10 chassis conversions. They seem to work better on the 47-55 years.
My plan is to modify a Syclone/Typhoon or Astro chassis, Build the drive train for a peppy but drivable SBC. I want something that handles good. I started with lowering a 4wd chassis. I ran into clearance issues for the cross over steering (needed to make it drive right). To solve the problem I would have go with a 4 link up front. At this point I figured for all the trouble of a 4 link I might as well go with IFS. I would love to see more pictures of your International. Denny |
