Hey everyone,I have a clearview windshield.and I always wash it with a water hose only and lightly rubbing my fingers over the windshield while spraying with
hose. After -I put on Novus 1.... Now it seem I need to always use Novus 2 to get read of the haze and make it shine. It seem to only have swirls if the sun
shine on it a certain way and the swirls are not the direction I rub the windshield. Is this as good as the windshield get!!!Marry Christmas and Happy
Holidays

A couple years back there was a thread on the board about using a 2 part polish system made for plastics. It was made by "The Wax Shop" and had to be
applied with a buffer. This is the 1st step> http://waxdepot.safeshopper.com/161/167.htm?291
I'm not sure what the other part was, but this might be all that you need. Stan

My Tourer came with the oversized Clearview windshield and I never use anything but water-only. Have not have any fading or hazing. Are you guys suggesting
that I shouldn't put anything on the Clearview to prevent any clouding conditions such as you describe?

I only use Plexus on mine for lite or final cleaning. If the shield is real dirty such as dried bugs or road spray after a rain, I pre-soak the shield with a
wet T shirt before using the Plexus. My brother swears by Stoner's Invisible Glass for all his windshields. Both do an excellent job, but the Plexus leaves
a protective film behind that helps the bugs to release easier. The new Micro Fiber cloths are the safest to use with your cleaner.

Thanks for the tips on cleaning the Clearview fellows. I have a new Clearview shield that I ordered last fall. I ordered it with an adjustable vent. Now if
this cold weather would moderate a bit so I can install it. Bob

Used the same technique but with Pledge instead of Plexus. What was important was using a hot wet T-shirt to pre-soak the bugs off so they didn't scratch the windshield. |

Plexus is excellent as is lemon Pledge (Clearview recommended)...........I keep a can in my hard-bag, wrapped in a towel and clean my shield frequently...Bob

I went on a poker run last year, I noticed a H.D. rider cleaning his windshield. He had a pkg of baby wipes to get the bugs off then wiped it down with a soft
cotton towel. Maybe this will help. I enjoy reading the post. larryacguy
