Just an idea after looking at the NY Pictures (they are great BTW). Perhaps we should issue a challenge ... upload the best fall road shot with your bike in
the picture. The picture must be taken within 30 miles of home.
Any takers? |

Well the A.C.e. won't fit up my sleeve ... but I'm hoping for some riding this weekend yet. I missed the good pictures when the grape fields were ripe.

We are just starting to get some color change here on the Piedmont in South Carolina. Perhaps in the next couple of weeks I will have a good picture to enter. I don't have one with my bike in it yet, but here's what is looks like about 5 miles from my home. Anne Springs-Close Greenway, 3 Nov. 07

I agree Fred that road truly does look enticing. I look forward to seeing your enties when the leaves turn (I can't believe they have not turned by
November!).
Rich, It looks like it is past the peak time in your area. It is way past peak season here so I had to go back to 10-04-07 to get my entry. I usually don't take that may pictures close to home. Here is the best I can do within 30 miles. Colorado Rt 46 not far from Golden Gate State Park

Colorado always has some great pictures. I was in Aspen for a conference a week ago (w/o a bike  ) but sure enjoyed the scenery.
You may want to think about closing up some of those gaps in your house in the picture. It could get cold and drafty about January

We finally reached peak color in South Carolina. I think it was Tuesday or Wednesday this week. It was not a good year for brilliant colors considering we are
in the midst of a "Oh My God We Are Going To Run Out of Water" level drought, but I snapped away today anyhow.

Fairway Drive overlooking the Fort Mill Golf Course
