A good read...... The Innocent Man by John Grisham |

I just finished reading another outstanding book by one of my favourite authors.. John Grisham. This book is a true story of Ron Williamson, a young man from
Oklahoma, convicted of 1st degree murder / rape in the mid 1980's and sentenced to death. Ron sat on death row for 12 years and was only four days away
from execution when his appeal was granted and was eventually found " Not Guilty " as a result of DNA testing. Thought I would pass this on for
those looking for a good book to read over the winter months.
Merry Christmas to all. John |

If you like Grisham, try Patricia Cornwell. Her "Kay Scarpetta" series is one of the best I've ever read. She will have you visiting the local
library to get the next book in the series.
Cheers!

If you really like intense suspenseful reading that will have you on the edge of your seat and wondering how they do it, try reading the damn instructions that
came with one of my grandsons new toys for this Christmas. Aaarrrrgggghhhh!

Thanks Climbingwall for the info about Patricia Cornwell and her "Kay Scarpetta" series. Like you Bud, I have a tendacy to fall asleep when I read
except when I get a book that keeps me on the edge and can't put down.
Alen: Thanks for the Christmas laugh!! 35 years ago when I first got married, my darling wife bought me a lawn fertilizer from Sears... it was one of those rectangular metal boxes on two wheels with the rolling device that spread the fertilizer out the bottom holes. Unfortunately it wasn't assembled and this was my first and only time I have every bought anything unassembled!! I think the dam thing only cost around 15 bucks but gave me a million dollar headache trying to follow the instructions to put it together. It seemed like there were a cazillion screws with this dam thing and I still can't stand the looks of them today. Kind of funny now....but wasn't so funny then!! I ended up throwing the dam thing out. Let me know how you make out and if the toy works. Cheers, John |

John,
On your tip, I bought "The Innocent Man" at Sam's Club a couple of days ago. My wife is reading it now. I have a tendency to save a paperback for when I need to travel by air. It makes my trip so much "faster" and enjoyable. I have read a lot of Grisham books and all of them have been a good read. I look forward to my next plane ride so I can read "The Innocent Man".
