Needing hi-way pegs and have decided on MC Enterprise (4264) Deluxe hi-way bars with alligator pegs.
Before spending alot on new ones... figured I would check to see if anyone has any they want to sell. Also if anyone has an MC mini rack they want to unload..... |

Thanks anyways but I found a set by accident. I was looking at reviews on Cruisercustomizing.com and some guy had new ones that did not fit his Aero (due to
aftermarket exhaust issues) - He and I worked out a deal - very excited about getting something else to put on the bike (and hey... they are functional and not
'just' bling !) <--- My attempt at rationalizing my purchases....

Alepel -- most certainly will be posting pics but right now, she is in a pretty crowded garage at the moment..... when spring hits, I will wheel 'er out

Marman, Just a word of warning; I also have the M/C Deluxe with Alligators, and I found that when mounted, the right-hand bar, when sitting on the bike, will
rub against the heat shield clamp on my '98 T. It took over 1,000 miles before a groove wore into the bar and the squeaking stopped. It gets really
annoying when traveling a long distance. Just wanted to warn you about this before it drives you crazy.

Climbingwall - Thanks for the tip !
I have only done 5 miles so far in this, the dead of winter. I will keep your comments in mind. Right now, my concern is that becuase they are mounted to the rubber engine mounts.... there seems to be a little 'play' in that they move around a little. You think this is normal or should I crank down those motor mount bolts more, in an effort to firm them up ? |
