The T has the following specs:
Front - 130/70-18
Rear - 170/70-16
People will frequently use the following alternate configurations:
Front:
120/90-18 - GL1800
Rear:
180/70-16 - Valk, will decrease RPM's by 5%, improve gas efficiency, supposedly
160/80-16 - GL1800, will increase RPM's, but tend to be more long distance / high speed, are cheaper, and last longer
Curious, wouldn't 180/60 and 120/80 be perfectly fine since they are the normal 1 steps for tire alterations?
I've found notes about all of the following tire sets:
Standard Tires:
Avon Venom R - a good performance, high milege tire, though expensive.
Dunlop Elite 3 - a good performance, high milege tire that's not quite as expensive
Alternative Configurations:
Bridgestone S-11 front, G702 Back - a great, alternative bias ply set, very inexpensive, possibly high mileage, although only one person talked about it
Maxxis - similar, potentially high milege, low cost set
Dunlop D206 and Metzler I'm not going to mention; although they're popular, they tend to underperform / outprice those listed above.
Are there any other comments on tires?
