HSATF 1st Officer Posts: 1890 01/03/08 1:11 PM	Tags : None I have noticed that my favorite activity for April has been announced on several of the motorcycle site. (Motorcycle Events.Com, Motorcycle Monster. Com, and Bike America Online. Com). So, I guess I won't be "jumping the gun" to post it here. Hosted by Bryan and Cindy Sumpter, Edelweiss Inn, Eureka Springs, Arkansas. April 22 thru 26. I'm sure Bryan will jump in here with all the particulars as soon as he get the place up and running from the winter hibernation period. Anybody going? Would like to participate in the first annual Lou Brown Memorial ride on Friday, then work my way back north Sat & Sun. No Miata this time. It's either on the bike or nothing. Andy

HSATF 1st Officer Posts: 1890 01/03/08 2:45 PM	Andy, At this point, we are planning to head up there Saturday and spend the week riding and just kicking back. Plans are to ride the Dragon Trike, if I still have it. Otherwise, we'll trailer Elvira. If I still have her. Otherwise, it'll be the convertible Mustang. But, one way or the other, we are planning on being there. If you make it, and I still have it, you will be the only person to actually see both of my trikes! (You lucky devil!!). HSATF 1st Officer Posts: 3538 01/03/08 6:06 PM	It's not definite yet that I'll be there or not, but it will be a late decision for me also. I too wanted to attend the 1st Lou Brown memorial ride. If I do manage to swing it, it will be on the Wing. At the predicted cost of gas hovering around $4 a gallon, it would cost me in excess of $250 for gas alone in the truck vs. $110 on the Wing. Cindy and I have been busy renovating some rooms (of course when I say Cindy and I, I mean Cindy says do it and I do it) so I'm behind on my posting. Just so everyone knows we are going all non-smoking. Any smokers will have to smoke outside of the rooms. But never fear we are having the Eureka Springs Ride Rally Ride April 22nd thru 26th. It was nice, a bit cool, but I was wanting to try out my new riding jacket anyway. But yesterday ( the 29th) another cold front came through and the temperture dropped back down to the low 30's.
