Great to see how busy this place is, new members, lots of b.s'ing going on.... swapping lies, as it were.... Have decided my old ACE is getting a little long in the tooth, sorta started thinking about something else... Anyone know about a great deal on a T here in AZ?? I may well be interested (of course, it would have to be the "right color." just kidding ) Seriously, I've been considering a new-ish ride, & am so "in love" with my ACE that I can't even imagine what I might replace her with... I've thought a lot about a dual sport; each time I ride by some gravel side road, I start thinkin' real hard (about the old days, as a kid, ya know, with the enduro), but don't think I could stand to sit so-upright for as long as I like to ride... A good friend sent me a pic of a Valkyrie & said "it's you, Jeff" Not sure I want anything that "seems" so big, I've heard it's a great big ol' bike! altho supposedly rides real nice... I really like the way my ACE rides, & have never ever been on a Tourer. I need to do that one day! Well, mostly just wanted to stop by & say HI to you all... (I did post a "rant" about a recent bad shop experience, hope you all can offer some thoughts about how to handle it...) Sounds like all are mostly OK, & mostly pretty darn good! This is classic black and chrome. This motorcycle came standard with a windshield and hardbags. I have added highway lights, aftermarket exhaust and the carb-kit. I thnk it's the one like used in "the long way round" mostly just dreamin.... I'm nearly in the market for a new ride, but, like my shadow ace so well, not sure what will be as great, except maybe the tourer!!!

I was in touch a few times w/ the owner; unfortunately, he doesn't want to come down enough to suit me, but I 'm thinking he'll sell it soon enough... I appreciate your looking for it for me! Also, I too really enjoyed your adventures, thanks for doing that!
