I posted an introduction when I joined the forum a couple of weeks ago. Yesterday I finally bought my T. Its a 1999 ACE Tourer. It only had 4,854 miles on it when I got it. I guess the guy I got it from never rode it. I was able to get the seller down to $5000. Anyway, I'm tickled to death with it. It has a backrest on it and Jardine slip-ons. Other than that it appears to be completely stock. I wish it had had some of the hard to find items on it but I guess I'll have to try and find the things I want.
They seller said it had been recently serviced, but I'm going to do a complete service on it myself, including putting new tires on it. The ten year old stock dunlops need replacing. I'm going with the Metzlers. I had them on my last bike and loved them. Anyway, I'll be asking yall's help in finding things. This seems like a great forum.
