T exhaust question |

|
o.k. all you T gurus out there, have a question. i've bought a set of T exhaust for my aero and they have the turndown tips. i like the sharktail tips like
my aero has. a guy on the all aero forum has an extra sharktail he's sending me, but he says the T had the sharktails like the aero originally. i've
seen them both ways, so which did the T have originally...turndowns or sharktails. just curious!

Neither. The T tips are a slash cut with slight turn down type. The GL1800 tips can be modified to fit the stock mufflers. Most likely what you bought is the
stock headpipes with Jardine Rumbler slip-on mufflers. Do they look the exhaust on my T in the picture below?

hey stan,
i bought ramblnman64's exhaust. from what you discribe, guess they are stock. pretty sure my sharktails will fit on here from the looks of things. even if they don't, i'll at least have dual exhaust....whaa-whooo! bud
