I am thinking about starting a ride group in the Greenville, SC area. My plan is to try to get together once a month or once every other month at first and
then see where it goes from there. At first the rides would be organized via email and not necessarily involve anything more organized than that, but who knows
what the future holds. I am planning to plot routes mostly to the north in the mountains, but also to the southeast and southwest of Greenville for when the
weather turns colder.
Anyone in this area interested? Can anyone offer some advise on how to get started? At first, I am just planing on doing a ride on the 3rd or 4th Saturday of the month but would modify that however we need to.
Right now I have a 220 mile ride planned for Oct 20th or the 27th, depending on the weather, that will go from Greenville, to Lake Lure to Little Switzerland, down the BRP towards Asheville, then on 64 to Chimney Rock/Lake Lure and back home.
