So I've started to search T for me, it's more hard for me than for You because I live in Russian Federation, Moscow:) And I'll try to ask my questions here... So I allredy know, like Alepel says, if I found something good T in USA, I can ask Your help or opinion to see the condition of bike and hear the sound, if some of You live not far from seller. Now I know few firms in Moscow,who can buy and ship any bike from any place of US to Russia and make customs clearance. Prices are more high here because of high taxes(30% of Kelly Blue Book price) and far distances. For example bike for 5500 in USA will cost for me at Moscow at least 9200 I don't know yet, is it possible to buy bike from craiglist, but shure it possible from e-bay.. If some of You decide to sell me T - I can make paypal deposit or something. Some of that firms are traiding just with auctions, maybe it's better for me? At least I'll see the condition of bike with high detalization. Ok. My first question is: Is it too much mileage 29000 and what do You think about this bike http://www.drivebike.ru/product_info.php?products_id=2318 it will be at Moscow in few days, the price is about 9000 and year is 98, and maybe my finances will be not ready yet, but it's first T, which I can touch, seat and listen, because this firm is not far than half mile from my job.. It's mark is 9 from 10, but I don't know, who is expert. Bike is from private seller... I remember how I felt when I was shopping for mine. To answer your question about the 29,000 miles on the bike your are interested in, I can tell you that 29,000 is nothing to worry about. A Tourer with 29,000 miles is just getting "broken-in". I would have no reservations to buy a Tourer with 29,000 miles. The Tourer in the pictures looks to be in extremely good shape. It already has some nice accessories and I would consider it a very good prospect for you to buy. However pictures can be deceiving and a close up inspection is your best insurance that the motorcycle you are buying is in good shape. Alex....I want to be very honest with you. I want you to know that I think you may find it difficult to purchase a Tourer from ebay or Craiglist from a seller in the United States. The reason for this is that over the years many illegal operators have tried to buy motorcycles from overseas locations and then defraud the sellers by not making payments. Here in the US we have grown to be extremely cautious of overseas buyers and you may meet with this resistance. You should know this and be aware that many sellers on ebay and Craiglist will advertise that they will not be responsible for shipping a bike or even selling a bike to an overseas buyer for fear that this is what we refer to as a "Scam". If you decide to purchase a motorcycle from ebay or Craiglist you are going to have to find a dependable and trustworthy means to make money exchange and delivery of the Motorcycle to Russia. I apologize if you know all of this already, but I felt compelled to tell you, my friend. I wish you well in your search and I hope you achieve success to find a Tourer and make the purchase. If I can help you I will and I fell certain that if there is a Tourer you would like to have inspected by someone from the forum here in the US they would be happy to do this for you. HSATF 1st Officer Posts: 4006 06/26/08 10:10 PM	The safest way to exchange money overseas is through an Escrow service. You put money into an escrow account that you both trust. The service notifies the seller that they are holding the money in the account. Then when you tell the service that you received the bike, they will release the money to the seller and he turns over the title. They do charge a fee that varies by company, but it can be piece of mind for both sides and worth it. Shure I know about scam and resistance against owerseas buyers and idea with the auction is more heathy than with ebay. Sellers from ebay will not wait until someone who represents the buyer will come and look to the bikes condition:) By the way I've found a leatlle cheat of russian firm near me who sell 29000miles T. They wrote about this ACE http://www.drivebike.ru/product_info.php?products_id=2227 that it's from private seller. It isn't from private seller, as You can see: http://www.walnecks.com/search/detail.cfm?ID=92906920 So, not all russian sellers are honest with buyer and it's problem too. But I see every day somebody sell one of the 6100 tourers and believe that one of them is waiting for me. As I think, somebody in USA, who have representatives in Moscow will search T on auctions and pay for that. For now I know about just this possibility. Alex

Alex....if you do a search on the internet using www.google.com and look for "motorcycle shippers" you will be a long list of companies with internet sites that will give you quotes for shipment of a motorcycle from coast to coast. My quick check of some of these sites reveals that shipping costs can vary from anywhere between $495 US to $895 US for a coast to coast shipment. Because various forms of crating are involved the prices vary. Here is a short list of some of the sites I found on my google search that will give you an idea of the costs.
