Mount and outlet for Navman GPS |

I was wondering if any of you could give me some insight on mounts for a Navman GPS unit. I looked at the GB direct Cruiser Mount kit that attaches to your
clutch or brake lever. In addition, where have some of you mounted a 12 Volt outlet on your T?
Any insights would be appreciated. |

RAM mounts seem pretty popular with the GPS user crowd. I've never checked them out myself, but they are purportedly high quality stuff...priced
accordingly too. I think Whitehorse Press carries them but a websearch will undoubtedly turn up other retailers too.
As for a power outlet, mine is not installed but is pigtailed to go right onto the battery tender leads. Sorry, as that's prolly not too much help to you.

I have the RAM mounts on my bike and cages. The best place to get them is Ebay. They are not cheap but the quality is excellent. I have not run a line to my
battery yet for power. Some day I will install a lighter plug. You can't go wrong with the RAM mounts....they are 1st class. Bob

Thanks for the feedback on the RAM mounts. Anyone else that might be able to provide suggesstions on the 12volt outlet and wiring of it?

Here is a source for the weathertite accessory port. The best way to wire it is directly to the battery hot terminal with a seperate in-line fuse near the
battery. If you don't find a bracket suitable for mounting this soon, then I might can make you one if you get me the hole diameter that's needed.
