Thanks Bob, I was worried there for a little while that I would be the only yes vote. Now thanks to you my good friend (checks in the mail) the poll is running 100% in my favor.

After hearing you both profess your love for each other I had to vote yes too. As close as you are to each other if you have not found any seriously alarming thing about the other in the year you have been together chances are you will never find anything about each other that will cause you to want to leave him/her. Go for it

Gotta tell you that a marriage ceremony isn't a necessity. Lori and I both already see you as a for life duo. It isn't
Clay and/or April but Clay'n'April the singular form. Just don't be too worried about priors -- hell my ex scared me off anything permanent for twenty years and the memory danrned near had me walk away from the best thing that ever happened to me. We figure it took all our previous living and lifes experiences to get us ready for each other. So Lori and I come down solidly on the go for it side if you mean to formalize what seems to alreay exist. Our best hopes go with you both. We would consider it an honor to be present at the ceremony should you elect to go that route. Lou |

Nothing can be "official" until you exchange "T's" in Eureka Springs.
Did I say "T's"? I intend to say "rings"? No. I think "T's". I mean. Nothing says TRUST like exchanging "T's"!!!! ![]() ![]() ![]() Dan By the way. I did vote for the bear.

That is something only you can trully answer, but you got my vote also if you two are the way you both were at ES most of the time. The fact that you feel the need to ask outsiders tells me you that are not ready yet. When the time is right, you both will know it, and only then should you concider marriage. If you really, without a doubt, love each other now, then giving it another few months will not make one bit of difference in how you both feel now.

Lori, would you PLEASE monitor lou as his fingers hoover over the key board. I had it 100% and he went and clicked the wrong danged button.
Don't worry about it my brother, I know it was a slip. Heck I might even try to talk her into getting married up on Penitentary rock/bluff/mountain...wouldn't that be ideal for two folks who work at one. Either that or maybe in your back yard. Would that be ok? Eureka Springs was nothing! You should see us now. Most of the teenagers in the area are coming up and asking us for advice on their love life. Oh and Stan. We didn't have to ask here. Just wanted to let all of our forum brothers and sisters in on what will most definately be a wonderful outcome for two peoples lives. Quote:I for one truly appreciate your including those of us that shared some time with you, in the progress of your relationship. I truly feel like I am a part of what is going on and it makes Diane and I feel certainly closer to both of you. Diane and I are going on five years married now. It took us 40 years to find one another again after high school. We both went through rotten marriages to get where we are now. I can truly say it is BETTER the second time around. I could only hope that the two of you find what we did. Do please keep us up to date as things progress. If you decide to tie the knot in Eureka Springs next spring or at Lou and Lori's place (my home away from home) AND if we're invited, we'll be there. Alain |

Clay and April,
Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us. We are family, because we choose to care about each other. I would consider it a great honor to be present if you decide to formalize your relationship. I already consider it a great honor to know you both and be considered a friend. You two have already made the connection. The joining of two souls together is something that happens in private. It has no connection to a marriage ceremony. The ceremony is just a public declaration of your intent to stay together through whatever life throws at you. You have both had some pretty heavy stones land in your lives. You have already helped each other through some tough times. In my mind, it doesn't matter if you ever get married. It's plain to all of us that you will be together and that is what's important. Seek the answers from within and follow your hearts and you can't go wrong. Putz |

Hey Dawg, that just ain't right
![]() Lou I told After5 that I had mentioned ya'lls back yard and she said "oh, you mean the sanctuary"! Yep I think that would be a great place if and when we decide to tie the knot. Hey, do you recon we could get a couple of those eagles to buzz us? Wouldn't that be awsome. Putz, once again you shock me. I have been impressed with your wit and here you go displaying your wisdom. You truly are a good friend. I am sure that should we decide to do this that all of you will be invited as well as part of th wedding party itself. I'm afraid the eagles are gone until November. But you can have one of my feathers to hold during any ceremony. Unfortunately the law of the land and of my ancestory say that an eagle feather is a gift from the Great Spirit and may never be given to another. Tradition says they should accompany me on my butial platform. How that'll work out with me being cremated when the time comes I don't know, but it would be an honor to have one be part of your vows.
