I have a 99 shadow 750 ACE. I was wondering if anyone out there knows if you can bolt in an 1100 in place of the 750 or if it takes some fabrication.

Requires lots of major fabrication to the frame. More than it would ever be worth attempting. Better off locating another 750 engine. I think I saw one on ebay
last night.
Here's is only a few of the major differences; 750 is chain drive and 1100 is shaft drive 1100 is bigger engine overall than 750 Mounts are in different location on frame

Jimy,
Hop-up kits for 750's are available. Try finding one for an 1100cc Honda engine.

Thanks for the insight guys...there is nothing wrong with the 750 motor I have now. I just wanted to mabey get some more power of of it with out getting an
1100 bike. I love the way mine rides. I don't wanna trade it. But do you guys know of any good power upgrades to make to the 750. I have 2" cobra
exhaust drag pipes on it now everything else is stock.
