I just added those saddlebag rails and just tied the wires on the backside of the rail with small, clear wire ties. Two you can hide behind the license plate, the other two keep close to the light location. It really worked well and is nearly invisible. Hope this helps and good luck.

You may be interested in these items from Scootworks. Scroll down to about mid way and look for chrome wire covers. Then just below that there are chrome clips and zip-ties to fasten the covers with.

Hi Kelly, I bought my rails directly from MC. I tried JC Whitney but kept getting order will be delayed notices so I emailed MC directly whether they were going to be shipping some to them. MC replied prob not since that product had been discontinued, however due to the demand, MC was taking orders for a last minute run and I was able to get mine for $125 blowout price. I'd be interested where you found to purchase yours. Mine fit great, only modification I did was to the front mounting brackets. I'm a stickler about things being level and so I removed some material from the bottom of the inside bracket to clear the lower bend on my saddlebag protector bar. This allowed me to get the rails adjusted to my eye. I'm very happy with the rails as dress up my bike and I added the amber running lights to be seen better at night. I've posted some pictures of my bike in the members bike area you can check those out.

I bought the MC Enterprises saddlebag rails this week. The transaction was handled professionally and the order delivered promptly. Now the other shoe - I will
be returning this item to them. The fit is horrible and the engineering of the mounting half clamps poor. The over-all look is unappealing as it does not
follow the lines of the saddlebags. The bag rails barely engage the clamps, the mounts meant to bolt to the muffler bracket do not without undo force. Perhaps
I'm too picky, but I want to add to the overall appearance of my T, not distract from it.
and why do they still have a job?

I have the same ones and they fit perfectly. Have you tried turning the back portion over? I tried to insert a photo of mine but hasn't worked. The
front portion looks the same as mine so I would guess the back is flipped over.

Back portion of what? The rails are one piece and the clamps only go together one way. You have to upload your pics in to the "images" folder at the
top of the page, then it is real easy to insert photos in your replies.

Thanks, here is a photo of how mine look. Try pulling the entire unit out of the front clamps, turn it half way over, and reinsert into the front clamps. It's been a few years since mine were installed but don't remember any problems unless they sent you the wrong ones. Joe |

Turn your clamping bracket over and the fit and alignment should then be OK.

Looking at the rails between the two of you it is clear that Scott does not have the same rails. The angles are different and in different locations when you
look at the two. Clearly Scott you've got the wrong siderails.

That is my thought Alain. Perhaps they sent me rails for a Valk Tourer. The angles on the rails are just wrong at the point where they attach to the clamps. I
could rebend everything and make them fit, but I don't think I should have to.

Do the back brackets on MC rails attach to the muffler bolts?

Yes, but force was required to get mine to align.

Next time Steve, just have your stuff sent to me. We are practically on a 1st name basis with shippers around here. There are only a handful of weeks that we
don't get something by truck around here.
