My 1st Tourer |
Lead | ||
|
I'v had many bikes since age 15,,,I recently sold my last Aero and purchased a 2000 Black Ace Tourer. The dual pin is going to take some getting used to.
My last Aero was low and loud and very chrome. Not sure if this bike is going to be loud but pretty sure it will be low. I live in Jackson TN,, which is on
I-40 between Memphis and Nashville. I like to do my own work on my bikes so I'll be picking everyones brains for help.

Sounds like they uncovered a cache of Ts in the volunteer state! Howdy from western Washington state. It won't take you long to get used o a smooth ride.

Welcome from nearby in north Alabama. You've got some company on the west side of TN. WestTnDawg and WestTnDawg2 are in your direction. I don't think
that Dawg2 loves us anymore, but I'm sure Dawg1 will chime in here soon.

Sid,
Welcome aboard! I just got my Tourer three weeks ago- moved up from single pin ACE. There's a BIG difference! I've put over 1100 miles on it so far. Some riding impressions are included my recent posts. Also, the first thing I did when I got my bike was a very thorough service. Any questions, just fire away. Oakland Kevin |

sid....welcome to the HSATF forum from upstate New York. Glad that you found your bike and this forum. If you like to work on bikes as you say, you'll find
a ton of others who here who have done much before you.
But one word of caution! Be careful about who's brain you pick. If you drop me a line I'll tell who's playing with a real deck and who's out to lunch.
Welcome again to the forum. I'm looking forward to 'talking' with you more in the future. alepel "Ride with the Spirit always and in all ways"....hombldr. |

Hi Sid...Glad you found us! Now that Alain has been released after being apparently detained again for a couple of weeks, he is talking tough again. Whatever
you do Sid...please do not pay any attention to him. Eventually he gets taken away again for a few weeks and the board gets back to normal. Bob

Welcome, Sid. You found one of the best forums on the web. The people are friendly and a couple of them are actually fairly intelligent too, which really
surprizes me.
You'll find quite a few riders in your general area. Don't forget to mark April '08 and the Eureka Springs Ride Rally Ride. Just in case you haven't found them yet, there is a whole series of pictures of Bob's blow up toys (and I don't mean dynomite). He and Sue brought a few to Eureka Springs in '06. I think they were trying to keep them hidden, but they sure made a big deal of keeping the curtains open. We really got an eyeful. (Good job, Bob. I didn't know anyone could bend like that and smile for the camera at the same time.) Ride safe. I hope you get many long miles from your 'T'. Putz |

Damn, it sure is nice to have Putz back! I was afraid all my bruises might heal before he issued me new ones.
