Well folks, I for one, can't wait any longer to see this thread get started for next years 2007 Eureka Springs Ride Rally Ride or perhaps better said...."Those Who Know, Will Go".
So I have taken the liberty to get things started. It is still 6 months away, but not too soon to start making travel plans for 2007. This years event promises to be bigger and better than last year. So without further delay here is what you need to know.
The Eureka Springs Ride Rally Ride
April 24th - 28th, 2007 Eureka Springs, Arkansas
The 2007 Eureka Springs Ride Rally Ride consists of 5 days of riding, on 5 different routes. This is strictly a riding event. There will be no vendors, no bike shows, no contests, no trophies. During the day you can ride through some of the most beautiful countryside in the State of Arkansas. Roller coaster roads with curves that are slow and gentle or fast and hard, taking you through the mountains and valleys of this beautiful region.
And in the evening, dine or be entertained in one of the many fine local restaurants. Then hit one of the local Eureka Springs attractions or stop by the Edelweiss Inn for some parking lot conversation.
Riders can choose which days they come to Eureka Springs. This event will run from Tuesday April 24th thru Saturday April 28th. Whenever you arrive stop, by the Edelweiss Inn and pick up any one of 5 route maps of the area and off you go. On Thursday night at 5:30 there will be a dinner (location to be announced) where we can all shoot the bull, swap stories, and share our love of riding with people of like mind. Thursday evening, after dinner, look for a 'reunion' gathering on the deck of the Edelweiss Inn for all of those who are returning again from last years event - and to meet any first time new comers.
NEW: Uncle Clay and Bryan Sumpter are coordinating a BBQ at the Edelweiss Inn during the week of the event. Clay wants to remind everyone to bring a quart of their favorite local or homemade BBQ sauce. This will settle last years mouth watering debate as to who makes the best BBQ sauce in the South (Yankees can compete too, but don't get your hopes up)
