I have been a regular visitor for about a year and a half. Tried getting login credentials back then but had issues and gave up. Uh.... last 10 years were on an 85 shadow 700 - Was making the move to a HD (had money down) then financial issues left me shy of $$. Never heard of the T but saw one for sale locally - guy ended up not wanting to sell. Found this forum and started contacting people to buy a T for sale.... everyone started backing out saying they couldn't bear to part with their bikes. All were out of state until one night, saw one for sale about 30 miles fom me in MN. Bought the black 98, and the rest is history. I really do love this bike as it is definitely the best of both worlds. I am a daily rider to work from late March to Late November, depending on the weather here in MN. I love simplicity of the saddle bags. a flip of the latch and out comes my lunch and laptop. Beats the heck out of undoing multiple buckles like I was doing on m previous ride. (and easier than the odd harley bags on the Electra Glide I had been considering. ) Looking forward to some longer distance trips this summer. (once I get some hi way pegs) MAN! Do I have questions ! I will be spending a little more time digging through previous posts before I foolishly start asking questions that have already been answered.
Only complaints I have have been echoed before.... subdued sound and mediocre mileage. The rest Rocks !
