Well I had to replace my gaskets between the head pipe and the mufflers on my Rumlers they were starting to leak.Well- thinking I sure would like some quiet
muffler once again as the Rumblers have gotten much louder with age.So- I put the stock mufflers back on and they were nice and quiet but they still sound
nasty.Back with the Jardine Rumblers I go

Bob,
I would have to agree that even the stock mufflers have some character to them. If I rev-up my T's engine and my Nighthawk's engine in my garage there is no comparison between that quiet, smooth sound that emits from my Nighthawk's stock mufflers and the nasty noise snarling out the business end of those T mufflers. I do have to agree with Chicago that the acute angle the left exhaust pipe makes is abominable, but it is not enough to make me give up my quiet ride especially on those multiple long trips I take every year.
