This baby was very well appointed and ran great.
Pat is very proud of her trike, and I can see why.
I am sure Gary (Farmboy) or Pat will check in and be pleased that the trike picture is on the finest forum in the world. Bob

My Ride On A Goldwing Trike |
Lead | ||
|
As you read in my very tongue and cheek report on the sale of my T last Saturday, Gary and Pat rode over on Pat's trike and just "insisted" that
I take it out for a ride. They didn't have to ask twice. Speaking of rocket...I looked down and saw the speedo at 80mph. I then shifted out of second
and she really took off! Just kidding about the second gear not the 80mph.
This baby was very well appointed and ran great. Pat is very proud of her trike, and I can see why.

That looks exactly like this one. Except it's blue.

I had a blast on it Dan. Man that thing was comfortable. I think that after a 100 miles or so I would be totally used to it. I noticed the steering was real
sensitive and I seemed to over correct a bit. But, just like anything else, it was different because I had never piloted an F-16 on three wheels before.
I would really like to put some serious miles on one and maybe eventually entertain thoughts about a purchase of a couple. What I really noticed was the git-up-and-go that machine had. I have always read about the performance of the 1800 cc Goldwing and now I can be another witness of that refined power. Bob |

The more I look at these GW trikes the more I love 'em. I could see myself on one in the future.

I keep telling y'all. It gets in your blood!!
Bob. It takes a couple hundred miles to get used to the steering, then it's second nature. And you are correct about the "get up and go". It will flat haul a$$!! (Although. It does have a little less low end torque than the Valkyrie Interstate). Marsha and I are about to put about 2500 miles on ours!!

Ditto on the gittyup and go. Since I've been riding the Wing, my arms have gotten 2 inches longer. Wonder if I can drive it with my feet.

If we did that, we would have to buy new pants!! Tony, Never too young to have fun. One of the guy on the GL1800 forum just recently triked his Goldwing. He's 37 years old. He tried it and really liked it. There are a bunch of young guys on that forum that ride trikes. People are beginning to see hat it's just another form of "going down the road". Not just a way for older guys, physically challenged people, or women to keep riding. I don't ride one because I have to. I ride trike because I love it!! You see more old guys on them because they can afford them!! -Dan

You see more old guys on them because they can afford them!!I think that may be it. Like I said I was just kiding about the age thing. I have demoed a number of wings and I realy do like them. I'm sure the trikes are just as fun. There is no way I can aford one so I have to tell my self that i'm too young for one. It hurts less.
