I have heard of people putting car tires on thier Valks , but not sure about the T . There might be more info here somewhere about the subject in the section
on tires . I know there are a few other options people have been using to get more miles for thier tires , the Dunlop does not last on anyone's bike very
well . I would love to see pics of the bike and sidecar if you have any . My wife and I have been talking about the addition of a sidecar to my bike .

Thats not right, the Dunlop E3 180-70/16 last a long time. I have over 10,000 miles on my E3 and i think i will get maybe 7 to 10k more on it. I have not seen
anyone that has put a car tire on the T, not enough room inside our fender well.

as a member of the suzuki LC 1500 forum, i can tell you a lot of guys are putting them on that bike. most love it, or at least say they do, but some hate it.
even the ones that love it say it takes some getting used to...especially in the cornering. personally, i'd never do it. there's a reason tire
companies spend a lot of money on R and D for motorcycle tires. jmo. bud

This is a very hot topic on the Goldwing and Valk forums. There is more than 1000 posts on the subject at; http://www.gl1800riders.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=96639
http://www.gl1800riders.com/forums/viewforum.php?f=17 As for the T, I'm sure that a CT that fits a Goldwing should also fit the T as well since the GW uses a smaller tire than the T. I may try one on my next tire swap for the Wing. It seems that some are having handling issues with the E3 on Wings and Valks. There have been several to report loss of traction in the twisties using E3's on the heavier bikes. There are both pros and cons on the above links, so do your own homework and make your own judgments. Stan

I'd love to run a car tire on my T, but I dunno. The guy in the link you posted was running a 195/55-16. I'm running a 180/70 now and I don't think
there's room for a 15mm wider tire back there. Also, the diameter is 37.5mm smaller than a Valk-sized tire, which would lower the rear of the bike about
3/4" and make the engine even busier than it is now at speed.

Kumho 165/80/15 Power Star 758 is one tire being used by a VT1100 rider I know.
Here's a list of others that he found will work too http://vtxdarksiders.forumotion.com/honda-vt-1100-f16/cts-for-1100s-t489.htm And here's how he mounted it and found what worked http://vtxdarksiders.forumotion.com/honda-vt-1100-f16/dark-side-tire-mod-for-vt1100c-2004-honda-spirit-1100cc-t573.htm Sorry...didn't notice the 1100T wheel was 16 instead of 15 like the other 1100s. But with it being 16x4.5 you could run a 195/60/16 or a 195/65/16....a 205/65/16 might even fit...i know the 205/65/16 fits my 1300 VTX just fine.
