After taking about a month to read EVERY post in the Tires section of this board, I created charts and graphs of possible tires sizes and manufacturers (not
really, but do you know how much info is here??), took another month to go through the data and make a decision, and finally ordered tires with my brain
scrambled by TIO (tire info overload). 
I've only ridden about 100 miles since the tires were put on, but DANG, what a huge difference the new tires make. I don't know if it's the wider rear tire or the fact that the old tires were just plain OLD, but she rides like a new beast. I had the back end scooch out on me the last couple times I rode in the rain, so I knew it was time for new rubber.
I just wanted to say THANK YOU to everyone for sharing your experiences and information - it helps us all make informaed decisions.
I certainly would have loved to get Metzlers for Matty, but instead my wallet allowed me to order Dunlop E3's for the front and rear. Stock size front, and Valk size rear. (I had a 180 rear on my VLX600, and absolutely loved that fat lil' bugger.)
