I was looking at pictures of the AERO 1100s and wondered if the OEM semi fishtail tips would fit on the T mufflers. Anyone have any experience with this?

I believe they will Jim, with a little work. I remember something about the tips not being a direct replacement but it doesn't take much to get them to
work. Like Stan said, there should be something on the forum about this mod.

First I wondered if they would fit and then if they would work under the bags and since there is no right and left, are the screw holes gonna show if used on
the left muffler. I thought they would look good if everything else worked out.

I recently installed a couple of Aero tips on my T. The holes do not match but I used self tapping screws and drilled a pilot hole in the exhaust. I cut the
tip out of the OEM muffler and finished the job with the Aero Tips. They stick out about 2 1/2" past the bags and are level with the top of the exhaust
canister so clearance is not an issue. I'll try and get a photo to you so you can see if you like the look. I like the look.
