I ordered a set of Metzlers. I'm looking forward to putting them on the T. I'm putting the 180/70-16 on the rear and the 130/70-18 on the front.
Can't wait to try them out...

I only had a Metz on the rear of my T. I would estimate that it would have gone 16-17K miles. I say estimate because it had 14.5K miles on it when I sold it
last month. The new owner replaced it immediately even though I had measured it with a tire gauge and it had approx. 20% usable tread left on it along the
center. That's reasonable mileage in my book.
I put a Metz on the front of my Wing last fall. I then ran up on a good deal on an E3 rear for my Wing and will give that one a try next. I've got 19.2K miles on the factory Dunlop D250 rear and it's still going strong so far. Stan

I put ME 880's on my T a few years back. The tires were great and barely showed any wear after 6k miles, when I sold the bike.
As with any tire, but for some reason more pronounced with Metzlers... be carefull for the first 20-30 miles. Metzler uses some unique mold release and the first couple of miles felt like I was riding on ice. Andy |
