Well look at you. We get to see your face and that beautiful blue Tourer. The blue just sets this bike off. I just got a thing for blue. Beautiful.

Oh...
MY.... GAWD!!!! That is soooooo beautiful! *wipes drool off of face* Okay, okay...I can't help it, as a water baby, I am a sucker for blue. That sure is a sweet lookin' ride. Comfy seat? If you don't have a lot of extra $$ right now, here's a fix that will help make the seat more comfortable until you can spring for a different seat. Buy an exercise bike gel seat cover (I've got a company and item number listed on Matty's page on my site), take off your motorcycle seat cover, snip the sides that would come down over the exercise bike seat off of the gel pad seat cover, shave out a spot shaped exactly like the gel pad, glue a layer of foam over it, and restaple your seat cover into place. I bought an exercise bike seat cover because it was only $24, compared to just about $100 for the motorcycle gel pads. If you want to see how it was done, scroll down Matty's page until you get to the second part of the seat mods, and you'll find a video there of the entire process. It was just a chance meeting, Alain...and since it was such a sunny day, it wasn't as frightening as it would have been meeting him in a dark alley!
skid, go for it...if you need any details, just PM me, and I can get the info from my hubby on exactly what foam we used, type of glue, etc. It's really not too hard to shape the seat with a sander, then move to hand sanding for the final shaping. Just do it a little bit at a time. I think the hardest part is restretching the seat and stapling it. Do it like we staple artist's canvas, in a "x" pattern. Put in a staple, then move to the opposite leg of your "x", pull the cover tight, then insert another staple, then move to the next part of your "x", etc - you may need to remove a few of your earliest staples as you pull the seat cover tighter, but it will fit nice and tight when you're done. It really helps to have another person to help handle the seat while you're pulling and stapling. And just be careful what direction you're pointing that staple gun, especially if you're using an air-powered one! Any misfires and you'll be a hurtin' puppy!! Live It, Love It, Paint It, Ride It!

I do like the color and your bike is really nice Skid! Now the rest of you...stop talking about me like that. That was my high school yearbook photo that was
taken at Sears. Now that I think about that photo shoot, I was told not to ever return because I was scaring the children, their mothers and the help. I
don't get it. I even brushed my tooth that day. Bob
