Bought my 98 T about 6 weeks ago. Wasn't running and need some TLC. Runs great and looks sharpe. Glad I took the chance on her. My girlfriend
questioned my judgement until we took our first ride, now it's the best thing that I've done, well, almost the best thing . . .

Welcome to the family, my almost neighbor. I plan to take a ride around the Little River Canyon in NE Al and the north GA area this year. Hopefully, I'll
be able to set up a SE US rally somewhere between us next year. I was going to do it this year around Oct, but I don't have enough vacation time left to
devote the proper time to it. Keep a lookout on the forum around January or so for any developments concerning this rally. If you need any help with your T,
then just ask. We'll either help you with it, or we will at least make you think we are helping with it.

Welcome to the Forum Brian. Been down your way a couple of times in the last couple of months, for the International Motorcycle Show and some Triumph Demo
Rides. Love the roads in the northern part of Georgia. Do you get up that way much? LIke to Wolf Pen Gap Road, the Appalachian Foothills Parkway, Warwoman
Road? Any other roads you really like to ride in your area?

Welcome to the forum Brian from New York State. Your finding a Tourer brought a smile to my face because I am looking to buy one myself in the next couple of
months. Your going to like this forum for information about the T. Anything and everything you want to know is here. And if you want to just talk about
motorcycling or anything for that matter, this is the place for it. You'll learn all of that yourself, soon enough.
Take a moment and go one over to the new members topic and tell us more about yourself, your occupation and whatever prior experiences you've had with motorcycles. Well once again welcome to the forum and I look forward to 'talking' with you more in the future. alepel |

As you can tell we are a nosy bunch but lots of good practical experience with the Tourer. We kind of like to think of ourselves as a brotherhood who have
a common interest in a machine but it goes much further than that quickly. Ride with the Spirit always and in all ways.

Hey all, thanks for the feedback. Appologize for the delay but work and travel call. I'm slowly piecing her together and just got the OEM windshield that
was listed on ebay last week. It is in fantastic shape, just needs a little rubbing to clean it up. Hopefully Ill get the shield on this week and then it's
off to highway bars, floorboards and a few other items. BTW, with the OEM shield, what are some suggested lightbars that wil fit. I understand that Cobra has a
billet bar but I don't want to spend $400 for it. I want something solid, functional, good looking and reasonably priced. Also, I understand the Cobra
highway bars work well with the OEM shields but the MC bars do not. You guys have the knowledge and experience, I have the open mind to learn.
Also, I noticed some other posts about upcoming rides, etc. I'll keep my eyes on the forum and hopefully catch up with some of these rides. Enjoy, Brian |

Welcome to the forum from global warming challenged Wisconsin, Brian.
I spent the money on the Cobra light bar, and I'm happy with the looks and the function. But there are some pretty creative folks talking on this forum, and they'll be happy to let you know what they have done in regards to adding extra lights. You might also want to post your question in the section marked "Electrical and Lighting." I'm hoping to get to Georgia in November. It's a beautiful state.
