Hi Kirk: The doors open at 7and the show starts at 8. What time will you get to Mankato? I have the day off and will probably do the normal Friday night ritual
of throwing steaks on the flesh cooker and crack open a bottle of brew.
Count on supper with us if you can. Bob |

Kirk....if Bob hands you something that is plastic and asks you how you are at blowing things up, make sure that there are no children around.

mktobob wrote: Kirk....after spending a few days with Bob in Eureka Springs last year, I came away from the experience that this was a man I could trust explicitly. Is Bob still looking? Kirk....run for you life. Save yourself. Don't eat anything that is BBQ'd or even remotely looks like meat. Make certain that your first born is locked away someplace safe. If you see Bob start talking to turkey decoys, humor him, pretend you that you hear them talking back to you,but run, run as fast as you can. I don't normally warn people like this but I like you. I wouldn't want to see anything happen to you. Good luck.

Kirk.
Don't let Al scary you. Bob is a perfectly normal guy. One of the most sane people I have ever met. Al, on the other hand, can't be trusted to tell the truth. He is just trying to keep you from having fun. How's that, Bob? Send my part packed in dry ice this time. -Dan |

WOW......What nice people! I am talking about Sis and Kirk. Sue and I had the privilege of spending about 2.5 hours with them out here at the house. Kirk
will be turkey hunting on our property in a couple of weeks and he wanted to scope the area out. That we did.
They were in town for a concert tonight and were able to spend some time with us. We threw some steaks on the grill and sipped a couple of beers and chatted like we had known each other for years. We sure enjoyed the two telling of his 6,000 mile, six day trip this past summer. Sis did a great job writing about it and an even better job helping Kirk fill in the blanks while he told of his adventure. As always, the time was too short and they had to get to the show. We will meet again. Bob |

Bob....at first I was tempted to say....'so glad that you all had a good time together', but then I realized how odd that sounded. It has been my
personal experience that anytime I met a forum member I had a great meeting. It has also been my experience when reading of other forum members who gather that
everyone feels the brotherhood. A feeling of real deep friendship.
I'm not really good at analyzing these sorts of things, but I marvel at the sense of brotherhood and friendship that the members of this forum share. I don't know what causes this to happen, but its really not important why it exists. What is important is that it does exist and I found it here. Its been a few years since I've been hunting but I am still have a deep interest in the sport. I'm looking forward to you guys sharing your experiences when its over. alepel |
