This forum is always good for a chuckle.
Funny part is... Wait till I get Bob alone in the woods... Hey bob, look, is that a 'Pileated Woodpecker'? Keep you knees in the breeze!

WOW......What nice people! I am talking about Sis and Kirk. Sue and I had the privilege of spending about 2.5 hours with them out here at the house. Kirk
will be turkey hunting on our property in a couple of weeks and he wanted to scope the area out. That we did.
They were in town for a concert tonight and were able to spend some time with us. We threw some steaks on the grill and sipped a couple of beers and chatted like we had known each other for years. We sure enjoyed the two telling of his 6,000 mile, six day trip this past summer. Sis did a great job writing about it and an even better job helping Kirk fill in the blanks while he told of his adventure. As always, the time was too short and they had to get to the show. We will meet again. Bob |

Bob....at first I was tempted to say....'so glad that you all had a good time together', but then I realized how odd that sounded. It has been my
personal experience that anytime I met a forum member I had a great meeting. It has also been my experience when reading of other forum members who gather that
everyone feels the brotherhood. A feeling of real deep friendship.
I'm not really good at analyzing these sorts of things, but I marvel at the sense of brotherhood and friendship that the members of this forum share. I don't know what causes this to happen, but its really not important why it exists. What is important is that it does exist and I found it here. Its been a few years since I've been hunting but I am still have a deep interest in the sport. I'm looking forward to you guys sharing your experiences when its over. alepel |

I'm wondering which of them is the turkey?? Maybe both??
Kirk, if Bob wants to go "scout out the area" before grilling the steaks, that might be a good time to grab Sis and run. Otherwise you may want to scrape off the BBQ sauce and see if the steaks look familiar (especially if Sis is "in the little girls room" for a long time). And you might want to watch out if he starts saying things like "I got your gobbler... right here". (The smilie just looks like it's laughing. It's really chewing.)
I'm only warning you because, Bob and Sue used to have a son that is now among the missing. They claim he moved to Seattle (yeah, right). I'd hate to hear that you and Sis suddenly "moved to Seattle" too. Glad you guys had a good time. Ride safe. Putz |

I just realized that we have a "spaz" and a "Putz" both talking to one another. How good could that be?

if you hang around me long enough, you'll know why they call me spaz... True story..
when I starting dating Sis, I worked with her brother. One day at break time (around a whole group of co-workers), he says to me... "Did you hold her hand in the woods, Spaz?" The rest as they say... is history. Now can anybody name that movie???

yep... Meatballs... another great American comedy.
We were having a dicussion about "the best" American comedy. The majority of the people thought "Animal House" was the best. My top 5.... 1. Office Space 2. Caddyshack 3. Monty Python's Holy Grail 4. Animal House 5. Blazing Saddles And please argue with me on this one.

kirk....never saw Office Space, but my favorite vote would have to be Monty Python's Holy Grail. In fact in town this weekend is a play called Spamalot
which is based on Monty Python. I would like to see that.

Alain, I highly recommend "Office Space" to anyone with a humorous bone in their body. After seeing that movie you will giggle every time you see a
red stapler. Bob
