Hi folks new member introduction it is. My name is Hoppy, I live in beautiful Wusta MA and I've been riding a 1999 1100T ACE for 3 years. I bought her
used with only 5K miles for 5K dollars, and have been very happy with my ride "Shadow" ever since. The best ride I've ever owned, and she's
about my 6th bike, Harley low rider included. Very nice around town, solid on the highway, huge bags for truckin stuff, and I never wrenched her until she
hit the 8K mark and was able to do all the maintainance myself. Looking forward to sharing info with other T owners here. PS - I came over from www.hondashadow.net, where I've found a wealth of great tech info...check it out

Hello Hoppy and welcome to the HSATF forum from Upstate New York. I was born in Fall River a few years ago
but never go back. I've tried cruising the Honda Shadow website, but have
to admit I like it here best of all. I have gotten to meet and know a lot of the members here and have found them to be more like family than friends. In time
I think you'll find this out yourself. Say since you live in Massachusetts's perhaps you've thought about going to Americade. It's an
outstanding event if you don't mind a little rain once in awhile. If you go we might meet up there.
Well once again welcome to the forum and I look forward to talking with you more in the future. alepel |

Welcome to the family, Hoppy. Glad you decided to stop by. I am also hang out a little on the Shadow.net board. That board is just friends, this board is
family. You'll see what I mean as you get into it more.

Welcome to the Forum Hop! In the good ol' '90's I lived just north of you in Clinton and Sterling, MA. Now I live a hundreds of miles south, near
Charlotte, NC.
Where do you usually ride? On Rt. 2, out by Adams? Around the Quabbin Reservoir? Do you go to Laconia every year?

Another welcome to you Hoppy from the great State of Maine. I was born in Medford, MA. lived in the greater Boston area till moving to Maine 30yrs. ago. If
you're ever up in the Sebago Lake, ME. area give me a shout. ACE Tourers are as scarce as hens teeth up this way so it's always a treat to ride with
another T owner.

Thanks for all the welcomes, guys! After 3 years on "Shadow" I've got lots of stories. But just started getting into the accessories,
maintainance and Web Social life this year....been mainly just riding her into the ground and changing the oil!
FredRider you know the locations well. I mainly ride around new england, I'm a rugby referee and get sent all over the northeast, and try to ride to as many matches as possible. The U-19s especially like seeing their ref ride up on a beauty bike, makes up comfortable right off the bat. Just installed a sissy bar I found on ebay so my 11yr old daughter can ride with me; am debating selling the windscreen I took off when I bought her and never use; next job - drill holes in the muffelers to improve her sound, but not so much air that I gotta re-jet. Lots of good advise to choose from now! Cheers Hoppy
