SSSHHHEEEEIIIIITTTTTTTTT That reeks to a high degree. Sure hope somebody figures out a legitimate and effective (permanent) solution to this son of a bitch. And I mean every word of SOB literally.

My thoughts are that this is a perfect example where we as Americans should be ashamed of ourselves and how WE allow our legal system to protect idiots like this.
Have any of you taken the time to read what this a$$ has done to the Native Americans in his state? ![]() alepel |

Here is an almost ideal example of an SOB that deserves shooting. If I was a South Dakota citizen I would be hanging my head in shame at being associated with a state that could let crap like this occur. It makes me sad/mad as an American that such situations are tolerated within its borders. Sorry to get so soap boxy inclined about this jerk but it is a glaring example of some of the worst parts of our society. Can you believe that only a hundred years or so in the past a vigilante group would have taken care of anyone with that record in a quick if somwhat violent conclusion. And don't even think about getting me started about his "treatment" of the Sioux Nation up there. I don't often advocate violence but with this jerk it would be only desrved for so many reasons.

If I were a politician in any of the States surrounding SD I would be inclined to pass legislation that strictly forbid Janklow from driving in any State but SD. As it is I doubt I will go riding through SD as long as Janklow is alive.

What a scumbag.
We all knew it would turn out this way, but it still makes my stomach turn that this jerk is considered more valuable than the life of the motorcyclist he killed. Not to mention all the other lives he has turned upside down by his irresponsible behavior. Any of us would likely never see the light of day again. Maybe we're just not big enough crooks. I guess Sturgis is just too big for the state to realize how many bikers won't pass through their state. I haven't lost anything there that I can't find somewhere else. While I have enjoyed Sturgis on the 3-4 times I've been there, I have no intention of returning again. I'll take my chances in other places that "might" have a greater sense of decency. Putz |

That is a crying shame, and shows how certain folks can get away with things others can't..Like murder..Hopefully he won't hurt anyone else. The politicians just thumb their noses at regular folks. That is why they are correctly held in such low esteem.....I could really get on a rant, but will contain myself....IMO Politicians are the 2nd lowest form of life..Lawyers who are politicians are the lowest..just my

Unfortunately it looks like only thing that will stop him is killing another inocent victim in another state where his god-like status is not reveared. Then maybe he will be put away and treated the same as any other citizen.
As for Sturgis, I suspect the attendees don't care. After all, most are drinking and riding their bikes which in my opinion is just as bad. The part that gets me the most is Janklow's refusal to accept responsibilty for his actions. Not even a simple "I'm sorry, I was wrong". |

Sorry Andy, bit a simple I'm sorry has been considered an excuse for forgiveness for too long when it comes to someone with notoriety tacked to their name for too long. "I'm sorry" is simply two little bitty words that do nothing except Maybe indicate the offendee's actions shouldn't happen again, which in Janklow's case would mean a list of several hundred public I'm sorries while he keeps plunging on his way destryoing the lives and livlihoods of hundred of prople around and affected by his thoughtless and criminal actions. For once lets not let an I'm sorry act as a sop.

I haven't written in a long while but this really makes me sooooooooo angry...Six years ago I joined an organization called ABATE here in Wisconsin and if
a person wants to know the newest twists the government is trying to push through this is the place to go. Our local chapter has more than 50 members and are
willing to fight for ALL Biker Rights. Each state has an ABATE...It doesn't matter what kind of bike.....as long as you spend time on the road this group
is a must.....
I pay taxes so I want my government officals to listen to my concerns and I can honestly say that when a group of folks with the same interest let our officals know they work for us not the other way around..there is alot of power...I don't want a seat belt on my bike or let a friend die because of some jerk who is talking on the cell phone. or drunk driving....South Dakota ABATE has been fighting a long battle against this jerk. It is a good old boys club in their government and ABATE needs more folks to join and with the money from members application..it is used to pay Lobbiests to watch out for bikers.....Please think about joining them...ACE Shadow Tourer Owners can make a change in government...each state has a web site..check it out...Safety in numbers!!!!
