T link
I noticed that I just had to hit refresh a few times until the converted T popped up from the random pics. Then found under the project bikes. You talking about the mint/black converted ACE?

Mark,
I had to refresh the screen about 15 times before it popped up for me. I did not see your T-link. Here's another one that includes 90 pictures of the restoration process. What a beauty! http://www.scootworks.net/phptouringace/phpslideshow.php

A lot of work did go into this good looking machine. I would have changed one thing. I would have installed a different tourbox. A box similar to the tourbox
on the Valk would have complimented the bags better in my opinion.

Innovative I'll admit to that, but I think its too much. Some people just don't realize that more is not necessarily better. Just my opinion.

I agree with Skip on the tourbox. (And the knives would have to go, too)
I especially like the longer tank. Too bad they didn't just make the tank longer on the inside too, instead adding the aux tank. (I know, not so easy, but neither is what they did do). I sure would like a bigger tank on mine. I have read the posts about it. After riding Goldwings so much, the range is miserable. I am just getting comfortable, when I have to fill up again. |

I wish they had more info on the engine mods. The Tour-Pak comment was right on. It's a nice bike and all, but he could have saved a ton of money by buying
a T in the first place.

Nice looking bike...but....How much did it cost to get it looking like that? Bob

More than the bike's resale value, probably. But that's how these relationships go.
