nice bike. not a fairing guy myself, but that's a beauty. as i've said before, if i hadn't found an aero i liked so much, i'd be all over a
tourer. a local bike shop had one here a couple weeks ago for sale, but i went back last friday and they had just sold it. ride safe, bud

Super clean look with the fairing both inside and out. Since I have the very same black and chrome with the studded seat, I can easily imagine what mine would
look like with a batwing fairing. Good job Ken.

GREAT job, Ken. Was it much of a job mounting the fairing? I'd be interested in knowing how you did it. Greg

dayguy wrote: It actually was fairly easy to mount. I used the mounting clamps from the original shield and a set of hose clamps. The hardest part was moving the speedo forward and getting the correct measurement to mount the radio. I had less then 1/4 to spare to make it all work. I'm leaving on a ride from northwest Ohio to southern Ohio and Indiana on Wed for 5 days. Just me the wife and the "T". When I get back I will post how I build the fairing and what I learned to maybe help anyone else that might want to make their own. |

Hey Dan, I just got back from a trip down to Southern Ohio. and Indiana. Had a great time. While down there the wife and I test drove a GL1800. I drove one awhile
back and loved it, but of course the wife is the one that needs convinced. She loved it and said we have to get one. So I am going to put the "T" up
for sale first in my local paper to see how that goes. I going to ask $4,900. I just turned 8,950 miles while comming to work today. The rear tire was new
about 2,900 mile ago the front has about another 2000 or 3000 left. I'll wait a day or so to hear from you before putting it in the paper. If you want to
call me my cell is 419-980-5402. During the day before 18
