Alain....My wife also shares your wife's deadly fear of motorcycles, but she has also been very supportive of my taking trips with my motorcycle buddies.
After two trips to the Black Hills of South Dakota, I was feeling guilty, so the next year I took her there in the car. That was interesting because I had
thought I had seen everything there, but I was wrong. In addition to seeing all the regular sites, we also saw a lot of antique stores (which I had missed on
earlier trips). If fact, because the antiques were so reasonably priced there at that time, our car was loaded to the roof (and top of roof) on it's return
trip to California where we were living at that time.
Since then, I have made it a point to revisit the more interesting places I had been on the motorcycle with her in the car.
P.S...... I still owe her a trip to Durango and a ride on the Narrow Gage Railroad to Silverton. I hope to get that in sometime this summer.
