the big thing they are also upset about is the fact the lady was issued no ticket at the scene, but, the kansas highway patrol does not issue tickets at the scene because of double jeporady laws.
i feel if the bike was going over 100 mph on the interstate, he was also speeding into the exit curve(witnesses say he was) and did not have control of the cycle, and, at those speeds, the lady may not have had time to react to the situation. i've had these bikes come up behind me on the interstate so fast, if i was getting ready to change lanes, i would have hit them. my opinion is they were both at fault and this should be put to rest.....yes, it was a sportbike and kansas does not have a helmet law, but it has never been said, or at least it wasn't on this radio show if he was wearing one. i live in missouri, but lillian is in kansas and i know as soon as i cross the line i see bikers of all models wearing thongs(on their feet), shorts, no helmet, etc.
