I'll be leaving home in Oakland heading east on Hwy 4 at about 0800 Saturday. I'll arrive In Stockton about 0945-1000. Stockton to Angels Camp, arriving Angels Camp about 11 East over ebbetts pass to Markleeville. After that who knows? On to Nevada overnight or back west past Kirkwood on 88. I used to live in San Jose and would take the route you are took in my 280ZX. It is a great stretch of roads. Would camp and go trout fishing in Hope Valley.
I now live in Georgia, but fond memories of all that area.
