Maybe this does not count because I started out on a different bike. But when I picked up BlackBetty in Louisiana on the 20th of May, I rode her all the way to
the coast and then home, putting 8000 miles on her in 16 days. But the real kicker was leaving Rice Honda in Rapid City, South Dakota at 12

No brag - just facts. You got me beat, for sure. That's some pretty impresive riding time.

quite an adventure of the mind and body. Now the important question did you take any pictures?

Loads of pictures. Both film and digital. We even did a "red neck" camera mount and got video. The guy I rode with is in North Carolina. He took the
digital and video. So I'm just waiting on him to send me the stuff. I took the film shots with an Advantix camera, getting these great
"panoramic" photos that are about 14" long. Again, upstate NY is close enough to see the real film stuff live !!! We'll figure out a ride
soon.

Brian....getting together sounds like a great idea. I'm trying to coax my brother to take a clockwise tour of the Adirondacks with me. Perhaps we could
meet in Lake Placid. I've been looking forward to riding through the Keene Valley, something I did 30 years ago and want to do again but this time on a
motorcycle.

Plan away my good friend. Just give me enough notice because as wonderful as my wife is, with four kids, she likes to know in advance if I'm dissapearing
AGAIN !!!

That was my record. The last really big trip was about 8000 miles. We've already started planning our Alaska trip. We're looking to hit the 15 000 mile
mark by going there through Canada and coming back through the USA. So many ideas, so little time...

traveling. WOW.
