Now no offense intended gentleman but one fact looms out in my mind. You riders are seeking the challenge and consequently you are seeking the roads that present the challenge more so than most of us. So that raises the odds that you are exposed to a higher likelihood of being in harms ways. The roads I travel so frequently do not have the types of challenge you are experiencing and therefore the dangers do not present themselves either. The only way I could see myself in one of your situations would be for me to travel on one of your rally's in a region that is known for tight curves, rolling hillsides and blind curves that invite other riders to travel these routes also....and very often in the opposite direction.
I might have one or two instances in a riding season where I might encounter curves and dangers like those you speak of. But in your scenarios you are facing these curves and turns minute by minute, because you seek these types of riding thrills.
If I have learned anything from my readings here it is that I want to avoid those types of riding situations. And for that I want to thank you guys. I mean this in all seriousness. If your misfortunes have done anything for anyone they have done something for me. Maybe even saved my life....and for that I thank you.
