I know there are a lot of veterans here and with Veterans Day coming up soon I thought it would be interesting to see what branches are represented. What branch of the military did you serve in? (Result)"We want to be free... Free to ride our machines without being hassled by the man!" |

US Navy '71 - '75. I wasn't proud of it then, always felt bad that I didn't get sent to Nam when so many others did. I know I was lucky, but
didn't really feel like I served.

26 years US Air Force, C-130 Loadmaster. Went to a lot of places I loved but also a lot I hated. Loved flying and doing airdrops, nothing better than hanging
out the back of the Herk flying a few hundred feet above the ground.

Aviation Storekeeper Third Class, N.A.S. Dallas Texas , 1971~1976. I was there for my entire enlistment. My hometown no less. Join the Navy and see the
world...yeah right, LOL.

That's quite a sombering thought Scott. I just heard that statistic on Veterans Day and it really shocked me. There are some things in this country I do
not understand. Homeless Vets who aren't provided for, Aged people who can't afford medical care, children who can't get medical attention, and
number one is people starving in this country. There is just no excuse for this in the United States.
