I just bought a '98 Ace Tourer and couldn't be happier! It's been 5 years since I've owned a bike and my last bike was a 650. This is my
first big bike and I have no idea why I waited so long to ride something as comfortable as this. I'm still getting used to the heavier weight and lower
center of gravity, but I really enjoy the sound of the engine!

Welcome to the Forum Rambler. It will be interesting to see how long it takes you to get used to the new, heavier bike. It took me between 3000 & 4000
miles to go from a 419 lb. bike with a 54.5" wheelbase to the T's 626 lbs. spread over 65.2". Hope you enjoy it for many tens of thousands of
miles.

Welcome to the family, rambler427. Somehow I think there might be a hot rod story behind that handle, hmmm? It'll take you no time at all to get used to
the T. For a cruiser it handles better than most of the same type.

Rambler....welcome to the forum from Upstate New York, soon to be the Winter Wonderland. Like you I got my Tourer this past Spring after riding a 88 Honda
VT800 for three years. I found that my switch from the 800 to the Tourer was better than expected. The Tourer is a Cadillac and I love it. The HSATF forum has
helped me tremendously and its members have become like family. I'm sure you're going to love it here.
Again....welcome, and I'm looking forward to 'talking' with you more in the future.

My first street bike was a '82 Yamaha Virago 750. I've also owned a Little Indian mini bike, a '76 Kawasaki KE100, a '78 Honda CBR750, a
'82 Yamaha Seca 750, and a '83 Yamaha Seca 650. The ACE is by far the nicest ride that I've owned.
