hey guys heres a few pics i added ive my bike since ive changed a few things since i got it. first i pulled the small windshield and replaced it with a memphis
fats shield with gradient black, also installed the light bar its just a cheapy 35.00 on ebay i had the lights already, also changed the seat back to stock for
the moment until i can get my mustang seat, also replaced the bars the prior owner had on it with the original bars the ace came with. i'll be changing
lots more threw this winter and hope to have it all done by spring for some good riding. i'll be repainting the bike all silver too.

Ray.....your Shadow looks good. I like the Red & Black look. If you were keeping those colors I would have encouraged you to paint the side covers. I
don't know what it is but any red bike with black side covers leaves me cold. I did read that you are going to repaint the Shadow to Silver with a possible
white patch on the tank. That sounds really good.
Oh and one other thing.....how about getting busy and trashing that garage. I could see floors and walls and too much empty space. Let's get busy and start storing useless junk like the rest of us.

Looks good Ray!
Looking foward to seeing the new paint. FYI cobra makes an extension to move the headlight forward a couple of inches to help it line up with the spots. Keep them pictures coming. Denny |

thx for the comments guys. and yeah you caught my garage on an off day.lol. i do lots of mechanical work in there thats why ive got the huge compressor in the
corner.lol. but for now its actually really clean ive just been tinkering with the bike lately. and thx for the tip on the cobra extension denny i need one
bad. the light bar isnt to bad for 35.00 but i would defintely like to get it aligned up with the spots. im getting a set of hard bags hopefully this weekend
from a 78 flh with the brackets for 75.00 hopefully i can make them work. some white walls are in its future also. and hopefully the mustang seat very soon.
now i just need to find some stock turn signals and i'll be in business.lol.

well guys i got my hard bags, they need a lil bit of work but i couldnt pass them up for the price. the guy wanted 75.00 for them but when we got there and i
took my old leather bags off to check and make sure these would clear everything he said he would trade me for my old leather bags, which werent worth much
they were small and cheap. so i said hell yeah.lol. so i got them for free basically. just gotta drill new holes in the mounting brackets to match my bike and
add a small bar at the bottom between the two bags. im going to do some repair work on them first and repaint them silver when i paint the bike so they will
match. but i think they will look good when done and do a better job than the small leather bags.

Congratulations Ray. The FLH bags seem to fit the lines of your ACE well. I am looking forward to seeing how you beauty those bags up.

Ray....not a bad match-up with those FLH hardbags. Once their clean up and painted they look factory like. I trust you're going to remove the reflector on
the left side?

yeah im going to remove the reflector the lid on the right hand bag wasnt the original but the rest of the bags were. ive got a lil work to do to them im going
to replace both key locks and do a lil fiberglass work and then paint them silver to match the bike.im also going to install some lights in the rear of the
bags for my turn signals and an extra running light and possible brake light combo. since the prior owner thought it would be cool to put tiny lil turn signals
on the back and front.lol. i like to be seen.lol.

Good idea. Still more than a good painting. They come from a Harley? I am wrong?

yes they came off from a 78 flh the brackets almost lined up perfectly also. i just made a small bracket to mount them and they worked out great. i started
stripping it tonight and getting ready to paint. i also got my turn signals today. so its coming together quickly.

thx guys, i would have loved to have made one of those trun signal bars work on my bike but i have 14.5 inches of cearance between the bags and those light
bars are 15.5 inches wide i believe. if i could find ont to fit id still like to pick one up. i got some rear signals but they are not going to work the way i
had thought. so im still trying to come up with some ideas. i just painted the rear fender the other day and hopefully can start on the rest soon. the weather
finally got cold here. i need to wait for a warmer day to finish painting.
