I don't really care for the shape of those bags, and the pipes look strange to me too. Am I the only one that thinks this bike looks ugly?

It sure is different, I don't really care for it but on the other hand the dealer is getting smart. The one thing that the Chopper's don't have is
any place to carry your gear in.
Also a thought for ridder comfort maybe come into play? NYMark99 Ride the Wind |

The concept is OK, but it looks too pieced together.
#1 - The rounded look of the fenders should match the sharp contours of the bags, or the bags should have a more rounded look like the fenders. Mixing the 2 together like this just doesn't work for me. #2 - The bags needed to be placed further back. This would not only look better, but would give the passenger more leg room. Stan

Stan,
I think you hit the nail on the head. Mixing the round with the jagged makes the bike look disjointed.

Regardless of the style, it does not look like a bike I would want to ride 600+ miles a day.

Ugly yes, but some people say the new Victory what's is face (the 21st century thing) is ugly but it will sell.
You know what it made me think of? Anyone remember the VTX Techno or whatever they called that prototype? Hard, sharp lines but looked like it could fly. |

The Victory Vision, isn't a bike I would want, too much plastic, but it has brought innovation into this market. The anti-tip wings are something that I
and most riders wished they had on their bike. Saves on paint touch-ups, and mangled chrome. I think the bags on it are very misleading though; they look huge,
but are only the same size as ours. There is alot of wasted space surrounding them.
The bags on this BBC, look like they open from the inside, and I don't think I would want that. Too difficult to get into unless you are standing behind the bike. I also wonder if they would drip muddy, greasy road spray into the storage compartment. Cheers! |
