I notice that you are out of Simpsonville, SC. So am I. I left you a message in your inbox, email me some time and we can go for a ride. As a matter of fact, the ride club I joined is having a meeting this Thurseday at the Blockhouse on Augusta. let me know if you are interested and i will forward you an invite. Its the Southern Cruisers Ride Club and there are no fees or dues. we just get together and ride. Mike |

I just had my mechanic put the Progressive shocks on my bike. It took him about 20 minutes total, I didn't even have time to finish my 1st beer! It lowered
the bike about an inch, so I can now easily flat foot. We'll do the front another day so we(he) can change the fork oil and make tension adjustments as
necessary. Now the glitch.........I forgot to check the setting and the ride is harsh!! It looks like I will have to remove the saddlebags to see and adjust to
the lighter setting.
ANY SUGGESTIONS on setting the shocks without moving the saddlebags? Thanks.........Andy |

Andy,
If you look under the lower front of the bags you should be able to read what setting they are at, very carefully use the spanner wrench and you can adjust them without doing damage to the bags. Just remember they are heavy duty shocks and all but brand new so they're stiffer than the OEMs are. Ted |

Thanks Ted, I'll try that. What are those two little 3/4" metal sleeves for? One is thicker than the other.
I think the rest will fall into place when we do the front. Thanks again for your help.......Andy |
