Hello,
Let me introduce myself. I'm just about to buy/pick up my 1998 Honda Shadow 1100 Tourer. I bout the bike over the internet from pictures and phone
conversation with the owner. I love the look of the bike. I then went on line to find out more about the bike and found this forum. the more I read the more I
love the bike. I am driving 400 miles to pick it up tomorrow. I live in Colorado so it may be some time before I can get her out on the road - Snow expected
tomorrow and through the weekend. Below is my new beautiful addtion to the family. (can't wait to tell the wife - Thought I would get her hom before I am
told no)

Oh,
thought I would add that the bike only has just under 16,000 mile on her. One small dent on the top of the front fender. Someone droped something on her in the garage. Bike has spent most of its like in Colorado. |

Thanks for the welcome. I did get an ok to get a bike from the wife. I negociated that deal when she wanted the new dog (poodle of all things). I had a 750 Virago when we got married. you know the story, soon all the toys were gone and we had a new house. Then some how a motorcycle became to dangerous. I think secretly, she is looking forward to the new bike as she has started talking about runing the cayons again. |

Greetings and welcome to the family from beautiful South Carolina. You and your wife are gonna LOVE the Tourer especially with that Corbin seat. All ya need
now are floorboards and your set to tour the country. Learn all you can about your new baby cause you are gonna get alot of questions from folks who have never
seen one before. I have been asked everything from "is that a Road King?" to "is that a new model? I didn't know Honda made a bagger."
Shine it up real pretty cause the first sunny dry day you know its coming out.

As another Colorado teal green and cream T owner, I welcome you to the HSATF. Thus far in about 4 years of coveting the green "T" I know that there

The bike and I made the trip with no problems. Wife not happy - not with the bike, she loves the look - but with her car now in the drive way in the cold. I think our new addtion will be loved by all once the sun comes out and the ice is gone. |

Welcome to the forum and world of "T" ownership from S. Mississippi. I predict that you will truly enjoy the new bike. In Sept. I rode mine through
S. Colorado from Utah enroute to N. Mexico and eventually home and as you know there are many miles of great roads in your area. The spring thaw is coming

Hey are you really from Holyoke? Me too, almost; within 13 miles but I work there. My T is also teal and cream. What are the chances in a town of 2000?
Don't get me into trouble as everyone knows I have a T that color. It is a great bike as I've had mine for four years with only 22,000 miles but plan
to put on that many this summer since I'm not farming anymore.
